The location was excellent, close enough to the restaurant, and bars and restaurants, I couldn't have asked for anything better. Its staff was affable...

The spacious and spotlessly clean studio apartment was a great find for our xmas stay. We were warmly welcomed by the owners and even treated to delicious pasteis de nata. The apartment's central location made it easy to explore the city and we loved being just a short walk from the river and the charming streets with restaurants and shops. The communication with the host was excellent, ensuring we had everything we needed and clear instructions for our late arrival.
While the apartment had shuttered windows that opened to the street, the natural light was limited, which made it a bit dark in the mornings. the bed, although initially comfy, caused some backache in the morning.

The apartment was stunning, even better than the pictures. the view from the balcony was amazing, overlooking a beautiful cathedral. the apartment was spotlessly clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. the kitchen had all the necessary amenities, and we were even treated to delicious traditional pastries as a welcome gift. the location was perfect, within walking distance of all the must-see sights and surrounded by great restaurants. it was the perfect base for our city break.
The guests upstairs smoked throughout the day and night, filling the inner block with smoke. This meant we couldn't open the window and even with it closed, some smoke managed to seep in.

The location was perfect for exploring the city and the apartment itself was super clean and had everything we needed for a long weekend in Porto. The shower was great and we even had a lovely outdoor terrace. The added bonus was the bakery downstairs that served the BEST pasteis de natas!
There were a couple of minor issues, such as the light coming in from the top of the windows making the apartment a bit dark in the mornings. The bed also caused some discomfort for my back.

Vitor, our host, was accommodating, great to check in early and check out late. The room was spacious and had a private patio, a perfect spot to relax. We loved the location, right off Rua Flores, making it convenient to explore the city. The apartment was beautifully maintained and really clean. The large bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well to keep us cool. We were also welcomed with complementary egg tarts, a lovely touch. The apartment was situated above a bakery, so starting our day with a typical Portuguese breakfast was a highlight. Despite being in the center, the apartment was surprisingly quiet, great for a peaceful night's sleep. I highly recommend Old City Oporto for a hassle-free and enjoyable experience.
